Author, Director, Producer and Pilgrim Annie O’Neil is a fan and devotee of the The Camino de Santiago. She has walked it, written a book (Everyday Camino with Annie) and meditated about it, been featured in a film (Six Ways to Santiago: Walking the Camino) and made a short documentary about it. She is humbled to have helped others discover the beauty and wisdom of this ancient path across Northern Spain.
Duperier's Authentic Journeys is the premier luxury tour company on the Camino. We are a small privately owned husband/wife company who have over 25 years of experience loving and walking the Camino, and have set the standard for luxury Camino tours by immersing our clients in the culture, beauty, cuisine and enology of Spain along the path.
They come together to offer you a customized luxury tour on October 1-10, 2017 that incorporates the best of what Annie has to offer, with the best of what Spain and the Camino provide. Each day Annie will invite everyone to join her in morning meditation before walking, then we will have time for different talks and exercises on various days during the tour. Mostly, we will walk together, eat together, talk together and have the trip of a lifetime together!
You will enjoy your own unique cultural and spiritual experience beginning in the beautiful city of León and ending in spectacular Santiago de Compostela.
You will tour the food and wine of three regions of Spain as you walk. We have selected the finest quality restaurants, most of which are farm to table, and the best local wines for you to taste and share.
We have chosen the very best accommodations that the Way has to offer. You will sleep in luxurious, newly renovated ancient monasteries and noble houses rich with history, as well as 4 & 5-star hotels.

Depart from Santiago in the morning, OR join us for an additional day trip to Cape Finisterre on the Atlantic Ocean, the ancient site where pilgrims have gathered a scallop shell end at the end of their journey. Finisterre participants depart on Day 11 (Additional charge for Finisterre applies.)
We take our private bus in the morning and go first to Muros (beautiful fishing village), then to O’Viso for an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean, then to Ezaro to see a water fall that drops from a river to the ocean (only one in Europe), then to Langostera beach in Finisterre. This beach is famous as it is the place where for over a thousand years, pilgrims have come to burn a piece of clothing that they wore on the journey to represent their transformation from the old person to the new along the Camino. We also visit the lighthouse of Cape Finisterre (which people in the middle ages thought was the end of the earth), and finally enjoy lunch in the best restaurant in Finisterre.
The price includes the private bus transportation to and from Finisterre, gourmet lunch with beer/wine in Finisterre, one night at our 5-star hotel in Santiago, and breakfast at the hotel the following morning.
